The European Union classified cobalt chloride as a Class II carcinogen in 1998. Blue gum containing cobalt chloride has been banned in Europe and the United States. To address market demands, cobalt-free environmental discoloration silica gel was developed.
This product is a non-toxic alternative to blue gum color-changing silica gel. It is made from fine porous silica gel infused with an inorganic salt mixture and new compound dyes, eliminating environmental pollution caused by traditional dyes and discoloration agents. With its original technological conditions and excellent adsorption performance, it represents a new generation of environmentally friendly products.
This silica gel is primarily used as a desiccant and indicator of desiccant saturation levels in sealed packaging. It is ideal for maintaining the relative humidity of space medium in precision instruments, general packaging, and instruments vulnerable to moisture.
