Al Silica Gel



Properties:

Al Silica gel is colorless or light yellow transparent or translucent spherical particles with a chemical formula mSiO2.nAl2O3.xH2O. It has stable chemical properties, is non-combustible, and insoluble in any solvent except strong bases and hydrofluoric acid. Compared with silica gel with fine holes, it has a similar adsorption capacity at low humidity (e.g., RH=10%, RH=20%), but a 6-10% higher adsorption capacity at high humidity (e.g., RH=80%, RH=90%). Its thermal stability (350ºC) is more than 150ºC higher than silica gel with fine holes, making it suitable for variable temperature adsorption and separation.



Application:

It is primarily used for the adsorption and separation of light hydrocarbons by dehydrating natural gas. It can also serve as a catalyst and catalyst carrier in the petroleum industry, as well as an industrial desiccant, liquid adsorbent, and gas separator.

Properties:


Blue silica gel consists of blue or light blue glassy particles.
