Fused Silica Making Process: Fused Silica is produced using high purity crystal silica from China Donghai-Xinyi. It is electrically fused at temperatures ranging from 1800-2000ºC to create amorphous Silicon dioxide. The resulting material is engineered into lumps, cullet, ingots, sand, grain, granular, and powder flour forms. These are specifically designed for manufacturing PV fused silica crucibles, thermal ceramics, refractories, EMC investment casting ceramic shells, and more.

Fused Silica Sand Appearance and Specifications:

1. Must not contain any unfused parts.


2. Should be free of foreign materials such as string, plastic, carbon, wood, metal, or other contaminants.


3. Color dots are not allowed except for conditional black dots.


4. Black spot diameter should not exceed 2mm.


5. Total black dots quantity should be less than 10 per square meter.
