Type A silica gel is a transparent or translucent particle with a chemical molecular formula mSiO2.nH2O. It has high mechanical strength and good wear resistance with an average pore diameter of 2.0-3.0nm, surface area of 650-800m2/g, and pore volume of 0.35-0.45ml/g.
