Raw Material

We source high purity silica sand (SiO2 > 99%) from Donghai/Xinyi for our production process.

Manufacturing Process

The silica sand is melted at high temperatures (2000-2300 ºC) to form amorphous silicon dioxide glassy ingot, which is then cooled. We offer fused silica in lump, sand, and powder forms tailored to customer requirements.

Fused Silica Making Process

Fused Silica is produced from high purity crystal silica sourced from China Donghai-Xinyi. It is electrically fused at temperatures ranging from 1800-2000ºC to create amorphous Silicon dioxide. The material is then specially processed into various forms such as lumps, cullet, ingots, sand, grain, granular, and powder flour. These forms are tailored for applications like PV fused silica crucible, thermal ceramic, refractory, EMC investment casting ceramic shell, and more.

Fused Silica Sand Appearance and Specifications:

• Must not contain any unfused parts.


• Should be free of foreign materials like string, plastic, carbon, wood, metal, or other contaminants.


• Only conditional black dots are allowed; all other color dots are prohibited.


• Black spot diameter must not exceed 2mm.


• Total black dots quantity should be less than 10 per square meter when opening the big bag.
