Raw Material


We source our high-purity silica sand (SiO2 > 99%) locally from Donghai/Xinyi. Through a precise fusion process at temperatures ranging from 2000-2300 ºC, the silica sand transforms into amorphous silicon dioxide glassy ingots, which are further processed into fused silica lumps, sand, and powder to meet our customers' specific needs.

Fused Silica Making Process


Fused Silica is produced using high purity crystal silica from China Donghai-Xinyi. It is electrically fused at temperatures ranging from 1800-2000ºC to form amorphous Silicon dioxide. The material is then specially engineered into various forms such as lumps, cullet, ingots, sand, grain, granular, and powder flour. These forms are designed for creating PV fused silica crucibles, thermal ceramics, refractories, EMC investment casting ceramic shells, and more.



Fused Silica Sand Appearance and Specifications:



  • Must not contain any unfused parts.

  • Should be free of foreign materials like strings, plastic lines, carbon, wood, metal, or other contaminants.

  • Only conditional black dots are allowed; all other color dots are prohibited.

  • Black spot diameter should not exceed 2mm.

  • Total black dots quantity should be less than 10 per square meter when opening the big bag.
