Al Silica gel is a colorless or light yellow transparent or translucent spherical particles with stable chemical properties. It is non-combustible, insoluble in any solvent except strong base and hydrofluoric acid. Compared to silica gel with fine holes, Al Silica gel has a similar adsorption capacity at low humidity levels (e.g., RH=10%, RH=20%), but offers 6-10% higher adsorption capacity at high humidity levels (e.g., RH=80%, RH=90%). Additionally, it has a thermal stability of 350ºC, which is more than 150ºC higher than silica gel with fine holes, making it ideal for variable temperature adsorption and separation applications.

Type A silica gel is a transparent or translucent particle with the chemical molecular formula mSiO2.nH2O. It is insoluble in water and inorganic acids, soluble in hydrofluoric acid and strong caustic soda solutions. This silica gel has high mechanical strength and good wear resistance with an average pore diameter of 2.0-3.0nm, surface area of 650-800m2/g, and pore volume of 0.35-0.45ml/g.
