Fused silica is high purity quartz sand that has been melted to form glass. Its high volume stability, low volumetric expansion, and high purity make fused silica a versatile material for refractory applications, such as aluminum launders.

At Lianyungang Chemsize International Trading Co., Ltd., we carefully select high purity silica sand (SiO2 > 99%) from Donghai/Xinyi as our raw material. The silica sand is melted at high temperatures (2000-2300 ºC) to form amorphous silicon dioxide glassy ingot, which is then processed into fused silica lump, sand, and powder based on customer requirements.

Our Fused Silica products are made from high purity crystal silica through an electric fusion process, resulting in lumps, cullet, ingots, sand, grain, granular, and powder flour forms. These products are specifically designed for applications such as PV fused silica crucibles, thermal ceramics, refractories, EMC investment casting ceramic shells, and more.

Appearance and Specifications:

• No unfused parts


• No foreign materials such as string, plastic, carbon, wood, metal, or other contaminants


• Conditional black dots allowed, but no other color dots


• Black spot diameter should not exceed 2mm


• Total black dots quantity should be less than 10 per square meter
