Fused silica is high-purity quartz sand that has been melted to form glass. Its high volume stability, low volumetric expansion, and high purity make fused silica a versatile material for refractory applications, such as in aluminum launders or other highly cyclical applications.

We strictly select high-purity silica sand (SiO2>99%) from Donghai/Xinyi as our raw material. The melted silica sand transforms into amorphous silicon dioxide glassy ingot after being fused at high temperatures (2000-2300 ºC) and cooling. We further process the products into fused silica lump, sand, and powder according to customer requirements.

Fused Silica is a high-purity crystal silica product manufactured by electrically fusing amorphous Silicon dioxide at temperatures ranging from 1800-2000ºC. Our product is specially engineered into various forms such as lumps, cullet, ingots, sand, grain, granular, and powder flour, ideal for creating PV fused silica crucibles, thermal ceramics, refractories, EMC investment casting ceramic shells, and more.
