Properties:

Blue silica gel is composed of blue or light blue glassy particles. It can change color from blue to purple and finally to light pink as it absorbs moisture, indicating the humidity level of the environment. This product can be used as a desiccant on its own or in combination with Type A Silica Gel.

Application:

Blue silica gel is ideal for absorbing moisture and preventing rust in instruments, gauges, and equipment in enclosed conditions. When it absorbs moisture, it changes color from blue to red, visually indicating the relative humidity of the environment. It can be used with ordinary silica gel or drier to determine the extent of moisture absorption and assess the relative humidity of the surroundings. This versatile product is commonly used as a desiccant for precision instruments, leather goods, shoes, clothes, food items, medicines, and household appliances.
