Al Silica gel is a colorless or light yellow transparent or translucent spherical particles with stable chemical properties. It is non-combustible, insoluble in any solvent except strong bases and hydrofluoric acid. Compared to silica gel with fine holes, Al Silica Gel has a higher adsorption capacity for high humidity levels (RH=80%, RH=90%) and superior thermal stability (350ºC).
Al Silica Gel is ideal for adsorption and separation of light hydrocarbons in natural gas dehydration, as well as a catalyst and catalyst carrier in the petroleum industry. It is also used as an industrial desiccant, liquid adsorbent, and for gas separation.

It is insoluble in water and inorganic acids, soluble in hydrofluoric acid and strong caustic soda solutions.
