Blue silica gel is an ideal primary desiccant that can be used alone or blended with other desiccants for applications requiring visual control of moisture. Chemsize silica gel beads are saturated with a moisture-indicating solution, turning deep blue when dry and changing color as it adsorbs moisture.

• Chemical Formula: SiO₂·nH₂O + CoCl₂


• Narrow pore silica gel with interconnecting pores (20-30 nanometers)


• Effective moisture removal up to 220°F, best used at room temperature and high relative humidity
