Properties:
Al Silica gel is colorless or light yellow transparent or translucent spherical particles with a chemical formula mSiO2.nAl2O3.xH2O. It has stable chemical properties, is non-combustible, and insoluble in any solvent except strona bese and hydrofluoric acid. Compared with silica gel with fine holes, it has similar adsorption capacity at low humidity (e.g., RH=10%, RH=20%), but 6-10% higher adsorption capacity at high humidity (e.g., RH=80%, RH=90%). Its thermal stability (350ºC) is more than 150ºC higher than silica gel with fine holes, making it suitable for variable temperature adsorption and separation.
Application:
Mainly used for the adsorption and separation of light hydrocarbons by dehydration of natural gas. Can also be used as a catalyst and catalyst carrier in the petroleum industry. Ideal for industrial desiccant liquid adsorbent and gas separation.

Type B silica gel is a translucent particle available in two forms: spherical and blocky. It has a chemical formula of mSiO2.nH2O. This silica gel is insoluble in water and inorganic acids but soluble in hydrofluoric acid and concentrated caustic soda solution. It exhibits high mechanical strength, good wear resistance, a pore volume of 0.50-0.80ml/g, an average pore diameter of 5.0-8.0nm, and a specific surface area of 450-600m2/g.
Type B silica gel is primarily used as an air humidity regulator, catalyst, and catalyst carrier. It is also utilized in the production of scented silica gel and serves as a raw material for fine chemical products like silica gel chromatography.
