It can change color from blue to purple and finally to light pink as it absorbs moisture, indicating the humidity level of the environment. Application:

Blue silica gel is primarily used for absorbing moisture and preventing rust in instruments, gauges, and equipment in enclosed conditions. When it absorbs moisture, it changes color from blue to red, visually indicating the relative humidity of the environment. It can also be used with ordinary silica gel or drier to assess moisture absorption levels and judge relative humidity.
