It can change color from blue to purple and finally to light pink as it absorbs moisture, indicating the humidity level of the environment. This product can be used as a desiccant on its own or in combination with Type A Silica Gel.

Application:

Blue silica gel is primarily used for absorbing moisture and preventing rust in instruments, gauges, and equipment in enclosed conditions. When it absorbs moisture, it changes color from blue to red, visually indicating the relative humidity of the environment. It can also be used with ordinary silica gel or drier to assess moisture absorption levels and judge relative humidity. This versatile product is commonly used as a desiccant for precision instruments, leathers, shoes, clothes, foodstuffs, medicines, and household electric appliances.
