Fused silica is a high purity quartz sand that has been melted to form glass. Its high volume stability, low volumetric expansion, and high purity make it an ideal material for refractory applications, such as aluminum launders.

At Lianyungang Chemsize International Trading Co., Ltd., we carefully select high purity silica sand (SiO2>99%) from Donghai/Xinyi as our raw material. The silica sand is melted at high temperatures (2000-2300 ºC) to form amorphous silicon dioxide glassy ingot, which is then processed into fused silica lump, sand, and powder based on customer requirements.

Fused Silica is a high-purity crystal silica material produced by electrically fusing amorphous Silicon dioxide at temperatures ranging from 1800-2000ºC. Our Fused Silica products, sourced from China Donghai-Xinyi, are specially engineered into various forms such as lumps, cullet, ingots, sand, grain, granular, and powder flour. These products are ideal for manufacturing PV fused silica crucibles, thermal ceramics, refractories, EMC investment casting ceramic shells, and more.

Appearance and Specifications:

• No unfused parts are allowed


• No foreign materials such as string, plastic, carbon, metal, or other contaminants


• Conditional black dots are acceptable, but no other color dots


• Black spot diameter should not exceed 2mm


• Total black dots quantity should be less than 10 per square meter
