Our company specializes in the production of fused silica, a high-purity quartz sand that has been melted to form glass. Fused silica offers high volume stability, low volumetric expansion, and exceptional purity, making it ideal for various refractory applications, including aluminum launders.

We source our raw material from the high-purity silica sand (SiO2>99%) found in Donghai/Xinyi. Through a meticulous process of melting the silica sand at temperatures ranging from 2000-2300 ºC and subsequent cooling, we produce amorphous silicon dioxide glassy ingots. These ingots are then further processed into fused silica lumps, sand, and powder to meet the specific requirements of our customers.

Fused Silica Making Process

Fused Silica is produced from high purity crystal silica sourced from China Donghai-Xinyi. It is electrically fused at temperatures ranging from 1800-2000ºC to form amorphous Silicon dioxide. The material is then engineered into various forms such as lumps, cullet, ingots, sand, grain, granular, and powder flour. These forms are specifically designed for manufacturing PV fused silica crucibles, thermal ceramics, refractories, EMC investment casting ceramic shells, and more.

Fused Silica Sand Appearance and Specifications:

• Must not contain any unfused parts.


• Should be free of foreign materials like strings, plastic lines, carbon, wood, metal, or other contaminants.


• Only conditional black dots are allowed; all other color dots are prohibited.


• Black spot diameter should not exceed 2mm.


• Total black dots quantity should be less than 10 per square meter when opening the big bag.
