At Lianyungang Chemsize International Trading Co., Ltd., we carefully select high purity silica sand (SiO2 > 99%) from Donghai/Xinyi as our raw material. Fused Silica Making Process

Fused Silica is produced from high purity crystal silica from China Donghai-Xinyi. It is electrically fused at temperatures ranging from 1800-2000ºC to create amorphous Silicon dioxide. The material is then specially engineered into various forms such as lumps, cullet, ingots, sand, grain, granular, and powder flour. These forms are designed for making PV fused silica crucibles, thermal ceramics, refractories, EMC investment casting ceramic shells, and more.

Fused Silica Sand Appearance and Specifications:

• Must not contain any unfused parts


• Foreign materials like string, plastic, carbon, wood, metal, or other contaminants are prohibited


• Only conditional black dots are allowed


• Black spot diameter should not exceed 2mm


• Total black dots quantity should be less than 10 per square meter
