This product, derived from blue gum color-changing silica gel, is now replaced with orange color-changing silica gel. It is made from fine porous silica gel infused with an inorganic salt mixture and utilizes new non-toxic compound dyes. This innovation eliminates environmental pollution caused by dyes and discoloration agents, offering original technological conditions and excellent adsorption performance as a new generation of environmental protection products.
The cobalt-free environmental discoloration silica gel is primarily used as a desiccant and indicator of desiccant saturation levels in sealed packaging. It is ideal for maintaining the relative humidity of space medium in precision instruments, general packaging, and instruments vulnerable to moisture.

Blue silica gel is an excellent primary desiccant that can be used alone or blended with other desiccants for applications requiring visual moisture control. Chemsize silica gel beads are saturated with a moisture-indicating solution, turning deep blue when dry and changing to purple and pink as they adsorb moisture. The chemical formula is SiO2·nH2O + CoCl2.
Known for its narrow pore structure, Chemsize silica gel has interconnecting pores with diameters of 20-30 nanometers, offering strong moisture affinity through physical adsorption and capillary condensation. It effectively removes moisture at temperatures up to 220°F, with optimal performance at room temperature (70-90°F) and high relative humidity (60-90% Rh).
Typical Applications: Blue indicating silica gel is commonly used in compressed air dryers, gas drying systems, breathers, and packaged goods.
Type A silica gel is a transparent or translucent particle with the chemical formula mSiO2·nH2O. It is insoluble in water and inorganic acids, soluble in hydrofluoric acid and strong caustic soda solutions, and exhibits high mechanical strength and good wear resistance.
Specifications: Average pore diameter: 2.0-3.0nm, Surface Area: 650-800m2/g, Pore Volume: 0.35-0.45ml/g.
Application: Type A silica gel is primarily used for drying and moisture-proofing, and can also serve as catalyst carriers, adsorbents, separators, and variable-pressure adsorbents.
