Fused silica is high purity quartz sand that has been melted to form glass. Its high volume stability, low volumetric expansion, and high purity make fused silica a versatile material for refractory applications.

At Lianyungang Chemsize International Trading Co., Ltd., we carefully select high purity silica sand (SiO2 > 99%) from Donghai/Xinyi as our raw material. Through an electric fusion process at temperatures ranging from 1800-2000ºC, the silica is transformed into amorphous Silicon dioxide. Our Fused Silica is engineered into various forms such as lumps, cullet, ingots, sand, grain, granular, and powder flour, tailored for creating PV fused silica crucibles, thermal ceramics, refractories, EMC investment casting ceramic shells, and more.

Appearance and Specifications:

• No unfused parts are permitted.


• Foreign materials like string, plastic, carbon, wood, metal, or other contaminants are strictly prohibited.


• Except for conditional black dots, all color dots are forbidden.


• Black spot diameter exceeding 2mm is not acceptable.


• Total black dots quantity should not exceed 10 per square meter when opening the big bag.
