Blue silica gel is ideal as a primary desiccant or blended with other desiccants for applications requiring visual control of moisture. Chemsize silica gel beads are saturated with a moisture indicating solution, turning deep blue when dry and changing to purple and pink as moisture is adsorbed.

Also known as narrow pore silica gel, Chemsize features interconnecting pores with diameters of 20-30 nanometers, effectively trapping and holding moisture through physical adsorption and capillary condensation. It operates efficiently at room temperature (70-90°F) and high relative humidity (60-90% Rh), removing moisture up to 220°F.
