Garnet abrasive sand is a naturally occurring silicate mineral deposit. The harder species of abrasive garnet, such as almandine, are utilized for abrasive purposes due to their hardness on the Mohs scale of about 7 to 7.5. This provides the perfect balance between cutting speed and superior edge quality.
Our garnet sand is meticulously washed, processed, and screened to the necessary abrasive grade for use as an abrasive media in industries such as water jet cutting, sand blasting, and shot blasting.
