Blue silica gel can be used independently as a desiccant or in conjunction with Type A Silica Gel.

Application:

Blue silica gel is primarily used for absorbing moisture and preventing rust in instruments, gauges, and equipment in enclosed conditions. As it absorbs moisture, it changes color from blue to red, visually indicating the relative humidity of the environment. When used with ordinary silica gel or a drier, it helps determine the moisture absorption level and relative humidity of the surroundings.
