Fused silica is high purity quartz sand that has been melted to form glass. Its high volume stability, low volumetric expansion, and high purity make fused silica a versatile material for refractory applications.

Raw Material

We source high purity silica sand (SiO2 > 99%) from Donghai/Xinyi for our production process.

Manufacturing Process

The silica sand is melted at high temperatures (2000-2300 ºC) to form an amorphous silicon dioxide glassy ingot, which is then cooled. We further process the ingot into fused silica lump, sand, and powder based on customer requirements.

Our Fused Silica is available in various forms such as lumps, cullet, ingots, sand, grain, granular, and powder flour, tailored for applications like PV fused silica crucible, thermal ceramic, refractory, EMC investment casting ceramic shell, and more.

Appearance and Specifications:

• No unfused parts are allowed.


• No foreign materials like string, plastic, carbon, wood, metal, or other contaminants are permitted.
