Blue silica gel is primarily used for absorbing moisture and preventing rust in instruments, gauges, and equipment in enclosed conditions. When it absorbs moisture, it changes color from blue to red, visually indicating the relative humidity of the environment. When used with ordinary silica gel or a drier, it helps determine the extent of moisture absorption and judge the relative humidity of the surroundings. This product is widely utilized as a silica gel drier for packing precision instruments, leathers, shoes, clothes, foodstuffs, medicines, and household electric appliances.
