Blue silica gel consists of blue or light blue glassy particles. It can change color from blue to purple and finally to light pink as it absorbs moisture, indicating the humidity level of the environment. This product can be used as a desiccant on its own or in combination with Type A Silica Gel.

Application:

Blue silica gel is primarily used for absorbing moisture and preventing rust in instruments, gauges, and equipment in enclosed conditions. When it absorbs moisture, it changes color from blue to red, visually indicating the relative humidity of the environment. It is commonly used in packaging precision instruments, leathers, shoes, clothes, foodstuffs, medicines, and household electric appliances.
