Our fused silica is crafted from locally sourced high-purity silica sand (SiO2>99%) from Donghai/Xinyi. Through a meticulous process of melting the silica sand at temperatures ranging from 2000-2300 ºC and subsequent cooling, we produce amorphous silicon dioxide glassy ingots. These ingots are further refined into fused silica lumps, sand, and powder to meet the specific requirements of our customers.

Fused Silica is produced using high purity crystal silica from China Donghai-Xinyi. It is electrically fused at temperatures ranging from 1800-2000ºC to create amorphous Silicon dioxide. The material is then specially engineered into lumps, cullet, ingots, sand, grain, granular, and powder flour forms. These are designed for manufacturing PV fused silica crucibles, thermal ceramics, refractories, EMC investment casting ceramic shells, and more.

Fused Silica Sand Appearance and Specifications:

1. Must not contain any unfused parts.


2. Should be free of foreign materials such as string, plastic, carbon, wood, metal, or other contaminants.


3. Only conditional black dots are allowed; all other color dots are prohibited.


4. Black spot diameter should not exceed 2mm.


5. Total black dots quantity should be less than 10 per square meter.
