Our raw material is sourced from high-purity silica sand (SiO2>99%) in Donghai/Xinyi. Through a meticulous process of melting at high temperatures (2000-2300 ºC) and subsequent cooling, the silica sand transforms into amorphous silicon dioxide glassy ingot. Fused Silica Making Process

Fused Silica is produced from high purity crystal silica sourced from China Donghai-Xinyi. It is electrically fused at temperatures ranging from 1800-2000ºC to create amorphous Silicon dioxide. The resulting material is then specially processed into various forms such as lumps, cullet, ingots, sand, grain, granular, and powder flour. These forms are specifically designed for manufacturing PV fused silica crucibles, thermal ceramics, refractories, EMC investment casting ceramic shells, and more.

Fused Silica Sand Appearance and Specifications:

1. No unfused parts are allowed.


2. No foreign materials such as string, plastic, carbon, wood, metal, or other contaminants are permitted.


3. Color dots are prohibited except for conditional black dots.


4. Black spot diameter should not exceed 2mm.


5. Total black dots quantity should be less than 10 per square meter when opening the big bag.
