Fused silica is high purity quartz sand that has been melted to form glass. Its high volume stability, low volumetric expansion, and high purity make fused silica a versatile material for refractory applications.

At Lianyungang Chemsize International Trading Co., Ltd., we carefully select high purity silica sand (SiO2 > 99%) from Donghai/Xinyi as our raw material. The silica sand is melted at high temperatures (2000-2300 ºC) to form amorphous silicon dioxide glassy ingots, which are then processed into fused silica lumps, sand, and powder according to customer requirements.

Fused Silica is meticulously crafted from high purity crystal silica sourced from China Donghai-Xinyi. Through an electric fusion process at temperatures ranging from 1800-2000ºC, the silica transforms into amorphous Silicon dioxide. Our Fused Silica is engineered into various forms such as lumps, cullet, ingots, sand, grain, granular, and powder flour, tailored for creating PV fused silica crucibles, thermal ceramics, refractories, EMC investment casting ceramic shells, and more.

Appearance and Specifications:

• No unfused parts are permitted.


• Foreign materials like string, plastic, carbon, wood, metal, or other contaminants are strictly prohibited.


• Except for conditional black dots, all color dots are forbidden.


• Black spot diameter exceeding 2mm is not acceptable.


• Total black dots should be less than 10 per square meter when opening the big bag.
