Fused silica is a high-purity quartz sand that has been melted to form glass. Its high volume stability, low volumetric expansion, and high purity make it an ideal material for refractory applications, such as aluminum launders.

At Lianyungang Chemsize International Trading Co., Ltd., we source high-purity silica sand (SiO2 > 99%) from Donghai/Xinyi for our fused silica production. The silica sand is melted at temperatures ranging from 2000-2300 ºC to create amorphous silicon dioxide glassy ingots, which are then processed into fused silica lumps, sand, and powder based on customer requirements.

Fused Silica is produced using high purity crystal silica from China Donghai-Xinyi. It is electrically fused at temperatures ranging from 1800-2000ºC to create amorphous Silicon dioxide. The resulting material is engineered into lumps, cullet, ingots, sand, grain, granular, and powder flour forms. These are specifically designed for manufacturing PV fused silica crucibles, thermal ceramics, refractories, EMC investment casting ceramic shells, and more.

• Should be free of foreign materials such as string, plastic, carbon, wood, metal, or other contaminants
