Blue silica gel can be used as a standalone desiccant or in combination with Type A Silica Gel.
Blue silica gel is primarily used for absorbing moisture and preventing rust in instruments, gauges, and equipment kept in enclosed conditions. As it absorbs moisture, it transitions from blue to red, visually showing the relative humidity of the environment.
