The silica sand is melted at high temperatures (2000-2300 ºC) to form amorphous silicon dioxide glassy ingots, which are then processed into fused silica lumps, sand, and powder according to customer requirements.

Fused Silica is produced using high purity crystal silica from China Donghai-Xinyi. It is electrically fused at temperatures ranging from 1800-2000ºC to create amorphous Silicon dioxide. The resulting material is then specially engineered into lumps, cullet, ingots, sand, grain, granular, and powder flour forms. These are designed for making PV fused silica crucibles, thermal ceramics, refractories, EMC investment casting ceramic shells, and more.
