Blue silica gel is an ideal primary desiccant that can be used alone or blended with other desiccants for applications requiring visual control of moisture. Chemsize silica gel beads are saturated with a moisture indicating solution, giving them a deep blue color when dry, which changes to purple and pink as moisture is adsorbed.
